Sometimes you just layer until it feels right. The thing I love the most about this outfit is it’s evolution. It started simple enough with a creamy modern simple dress- it was chilly so I threw on an off white maxi vest- it was colder still so I grabbed the newest addition to my coat family- a perfect unlined buttery suede coat the same color as my hair. Big black necklace because it always pulls neutral outfits together. I flirted with ginger colored boots as well- but opted for the darker shade because it gave the color palette more depth. After all that- the hat was a natural choice. I wouldn’t say that I overthink my outfits- I would say that my mind becomes rapidly aware of color play and style stories as its all happening. I’ve been acutely aware of the interaction of colors and color patterns in environments since I was a kid. I guess that’s what they call being an artist…
